I was born in Berlin, Germany. When I was eight, I joined my mother and new step-father in Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.
I have always had an interest in metaphysics. As a teenager, I began studying Eastern religions, and after college became most interested in the work of Ram Dass. This was followed by an introduction to the Seth material while I was in graduate school.
I met Jane Roberts and Robert F. Butts in 1978 and began teaching classes on applying the principles in the Seth books shortly thereafter. Jeanie introduced me to the Abraham-Hicks material in March of 2002, and I began to teach a Thursday night class in Deliberate Reality Creation that summer.
Three years later, after listening to hundreds of hours of Abraham sessions and taking many pages of notes, I said to Jeanie that I felt like I had gone to graduate school again, and maybe it would be good for me to write the equivalent of a dissertation. Jeanie asked how I liked writing the dissertation for my Ph.D. I told her I didn’t like it much at all. She just smiled, and that was the end of that. We went on the Hawaii cruise that December, and afterward I had the dream that led to John and Jeanie Fly.
